Jeff Arrigoni, a divorce lawyer and family law mediator, has over 40 years of experience. He is a family law attorney and is the founder and principal attorney at the Arrigoni Law Office. Jeff represents clients in Woodbury, Stillwater, Oakdale, Maplewood, Cottage Grove, Hastings, White Bear, Shoreview, Mendota Heights, Inver Grove Heights and throughout Minneapolis and St. Paul and surrounding counties. Jeff practices in the areas of divorce, child custody, child support, spousal maintenance, property division, attorney fees, Orders For Protection, paternity, appeals, mediation, neutral evaluation, and in all other family law matters.

Jeff earned his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from St. Olaf College in Northfield in 1980 and obtained his Juris Doctor law degree from Hamline University in St. Paul in 1982. Jeff graduated law school cum laude in the top five percent of his class, being selected to the Dean’s List and the Order of the Coif. Jeff also served as an Associate member of the Hamline Law Review, as well as Operations Editor.  While in law school, Jeff completed an Internship at the Minnesota Attorney General’s Office.  Following his admission to the Bar, Jeff worked six years as a Staff Attorney for the Minnesota Court of Appeals before entering private practice. Jeff was hired  and supervised by the Chief Judge Peter Popovich when the Court began in 1983.  At the Court, Jeff worked on Motions, Jurisdictional Issues, and assisted on numerous Family Law cases.

Since 1989 Jeff has been practicing in Family Law.  He worked in the Law Office of Louis M. Reidenberg and later formed the family law firm of Reidenberg and Arrigoni in Minneapolis, where he dealt extensively with complicated contested divorces and custody matters.  Louis M. Reidenberg was commonly recognized by his peers as one of the best Divorce Lawyers in the State and was featured as a top divorce litigator in the Mpls.,St. Paul magazine in the March 1993 edition, while with Reidenberg and  Arrigoni Law Firm in Minneapolis.  Jeff and Lou tried numerous complicated divorces and custody matters together and also have been involved in numerous difficult trial and appellate cases.

Since 1995, Jeff has operated his solo family law practice, handling all types of family law matters with a focus on complicated or high-asset divorce cases and contested child custody matters.  Jeff has received formal training as an ADR/Neutral Mediator under Rule 114, a Parenting Consultant, and a Family Law Mediator.  He has also received training in Early Neutral Evaluation.  He is trained as a Neutral Evaluator in Custody(Social Early Neutral Evaluation:(SENE) and in Financial Issues involving a Divorce(Financial Early Neutral Evaluation:(FENE). He is on both the FENE and SENE rosters as a Neutral Evaluator in Ramsey County, Hennepin County, Washington County, Dakota County,  Anoka County, Scott County, Carver County, Chisago County, Isanti County, Kanabec County, Pine County and Goodhue County.

Jeff has resolved numerous cases through Neutral Evaluation and in Mediation. Although an experienced courtroom litigator, Jeff utilizes his mediation  and neutral training to resolve divorce and custody matters efficiently and effectively through various means of alternative dispute resolution.

Jeff has served the legal community and the broader community as a Community Law Instructor, Legal Research Instructor, and as a Volunteer for Tubman/Chrysalis, a non-profit center for women offering legal services to women and families in need in areas such as dissolution of marriage, custody, domestic violence and orders for protection.
